Keeping your production lines running is critical to the survival of food manufacturing plants. Every hour of unexpected downtime can equate to thousands of pounds in lost production with the risk of letting down your customers.
After you’ve spent large sums of money on a capital project to improve your production processes the last thing you want is for it to stand idle for the sake of a single component. For this very reason, with every new installation and piece of machinery WMH supplies it comes with a list of recommended/critical spare parts. These are the items that if they were to fail would stop your line running. WMH recommends that following every installation your maintenance and engineering team is fully stocked with these critical items. This is even more important in the current world economic climate where supply chains have been stretched and items are so often on extended lead times.
WMH can support you and supply you with all the spare parts you need for your machines, new or old, in fact we have recently supplied a new drive roller for a client whose system was originally installed in 1994.
WMH has been in the business of supplying machinery to the food industry since 1976, as you will appreciate over this time we have built thousands of machines which can make identifying parts time consuming particularly where only paper records exist. To make identification of parts quicker and more accurate if you require spare parts we ask that you supply the serial number of the machine when requesting parts. Serial numbers can be found on the original documentation supplied with the machinery and on a plate or sticker close to the conveyor drive.
If you need more than a few spare parts and are looking for a complete overhaul of your machine WMH service engineers are available to provide an initial survey before providing a quotation to supply parts and carry out the work.
