With bakeries constant need to reduce costs and increase quality WMH’s ultrasonic, robotic cutting cells are proving a popular choice for a wide range of bakery applications.
Whether you are producing Yule logs, sponge cakes, flapjacks, fruit cakes or quiche, WMH’s cutting cells have the flexibility to cope with your complete cutting needs now and for many years to come. Whether you are looking for a compact standalone unit for batch production or a fully automated inline solution the WMH flexible ultrasonic cutting range has a model to suit your requirements.
With over 40 years’ experience working in bakeries and other food production facilities WMH has built up a wealth of knowledge about the specific hygiene requirements demanded of a modern food factory. This knowledge has shaped the hygienic credentials of the range of cutters making them perfectly suited to the demands of high-care wash-down environments.
Operation of the WMH’s cutting cells is via a graphic touch-screen HMI which provides multiple levels of access for different user groups; operators, engineers, etc. Operator control is limited to menu selection for the pre-programmed products. The system supports radial cutting for round products and parallel cutting for square and rectangular products. Both of which can be tailored to meet your exact cutting needs, and can be added to and amended as production requirements change.
“We are very proud of our cutting cells and pride ourselves on getting things right for our customers, that is why before we specify any unit we will carry out in-house trials and, in some cases, extended production environment trials.” Said a spokesman for WMH.
